I'm Brett Holder, MFT Intern (He/Him/His)
I am a student intern studying marriage and family therapy. I chose the field of counseling because I believe there is power in being vulnerable and in sharing emotions, even when it is difficult and scary!
I want to walk alongside you as you heal, grow, and learn. My style as a therapist is collaborative, empathetic, and humorous. In sessions with individuals, I utilize Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment Theory. When working with couples, I utilize the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
I am passionate about helping individuals and couples who are working through issues related to relationship problems, family conflict, depression, and grief. When I'm not working, I enjoy playing volleyball, eating ice cream, and going on walks with my wife.
I am a student intern and provide therapy and counseling services at a low cost.
